Project Summary
Saulsbury performed the electrical construction work on a 108-wind turbine wind farm in Prowers County, Colorado. Located on a 12,000-acre working cattle ranch, this wind farm with 162 megawatts of installed capacity was once the largest turbine project assembled in the United States.
Each of the installed turbines measured 113 feet in height with 121-foot blades. Saulsbury performed the electrical distribution and down wiring on each of the 108 turbines.
The project was completed in only six months.
