Saulsbury Honored by Kinder Morgan Corporate Level – Contractor Safety Award for Best Overall Performance

Saulsbury Industries was recently recognized by one of our clients, Kinder Morgan, for achieving safety excellence while performing quality work across their organization.

Each year, Kinder Morgan conducts an award ceremony to recognize companies that have demonstrated strong leadership while maintaining a strong safety culture. The company designates six awards to present to their top performers. This recognition includes an award from each Business Unit within Kinder Morgan, as well as one award given to the company that achieved the “Best Overall Performance” status. During the ceremony, Saulsbury was recognized for our accomplishments over the past year. Additional criteria used for this recognition included; a decrease in our Total Recordable Incident Rate from the previous year, a positive review of our policies and procedures, no citations for willful violations from any regulatory agency for the past three years, no fatalities and several quality evaluations and audit reports pertaining to our associated Kinder Morgan projects. Over the past year, Saulsbury has had 0.00 lost time, and 0.27 TRIR over 7,500,000+ million man-hours.

This is the second time, since 2000, that a company has received two awards. We are very proud to announce that our dedication and hard work resulted in the following recognition awards:

  • 2015 Business Unit Contractor Appreciation Award for Field Services tasks on CO2 (USA/Canada) for the past year with the best safety performance
  • 2015 Corporate Contractor Appreciation Award for Field Services tasks for the Kinder Morgan Corporation (USA/Canada) for the past year with the best safety performance

This follows the honor of the following Kinder Morgan Accolades received by Saulsbury:

  • 2010 Business Unit Contractor Appreciation Award for Field Services tasks for CO2 Operations (USA/Canada) for the past year with the best safety performance
  • 2009 Business Unit Contractor Appreciation Award for Field Services tasks for CO2 Operations (USA/Canada) for the past year with the best safety performance
