Project Summary
Saulsbury completed construction services for the first world-scale liquid hydrogen production unit in the United States (Las Vegas, NV). Plant capacity is 30 tons of hydrogen per day – enough to fuel 35,000 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles. Saulsbury provided the following scopes for the project:
- Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) and Waste Heat Recovery System assembly and installation
- Hydrogen liquefaction equipment installation
- Select civil works / foundations
- Piping fabrication and installation
- Skid Installation
- Water Plant
- Electrical and Instrumentation
- Scaffolding and Insulation
